Project Place Climb for a Cause

We tackled 1,545 stairs in the bleachers of Fenway Park—one
for every adult currently experiencing homelessness in
Boston— at this unique fundraising event for Project Place.
This organization strives to end homelessness by providing the
skills, education, and resources needed to obtain and sustain
employment and housing. The 2023 Climb for a Cause raised $133,000
to continue their fight against homelessness.

The
Garden Club of the Back Bay Twilight Garden Party

Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty is a sponsor of The
Garden Club of the Back Bay, which aims to promote civic beauty and
encourage horticultural improvements by planting and cultivating
trees along the streets and public squares of the Back Bay, while
educating the public in the art of gardening. Their annual Twilight
Garden Party is a wonderful fundraising opportunity where we are
pleased to show our support each year.

Ellis
Early Learning Spring Social

We were thrilled to sponsor this fundraising event for Ellis Early
Learning, an organization which partners with families to provide
high quality early childhood education in a warm, nurturing
environment for children across the socio-economic spectrum. The
2023 Spring Social raised nearly $30,000 to further
children’s education.

Friends of the Public Garden Green & White
Gala

We were delighted to show our support at this elegant gala, which
brings together neighbors and friends to support the maintenance
and preservation of Boston Common, the Public Garden, and the
Commonwealth Avenue Mall. Thanks to the generous support of Members
throughout the year, the Friends invests nearly $3 million annually
in the care and renewal of these three historic green spaces in the
heart of downtown Boston.

South End
Baseball

In Boston, spring means baseball season! We are proud to sponsor
South End Baseball, a non-profit organization that provides a
comprehensive youth baseball program to the South End community as
well as Roxbury, Dorchester and Chinatown. This free-to-play league
provides lessons in teamwork, commitment, and fair play through
organized sport. We had a blast serving up hotdogs and cotton candy
on opening day to celebrate this amazing organization!

The
Eliot School Gala

Classified as a Boston Public Innovation School, the Eliot School
has enhanced its curriculum to chart its own course to high
achievement. The school continues to evolve their instruction to
excite curiosity and immerse students in their learning, focusing
on serving students not only academically, but also physically,
socially and emotionally. We were honored to attend this annual
gala, which helps cover costs that surpass their tax dollar
allocation. These funds allow the Eliot school to offer additional
enrichment programs, educational technology, community events, and
professional development sessions for staff.
