Halloween is fast approaching and weve rounded up some
family-friendly activities on Bostons South Shore to keep you
entertained this upcoming pre-holiday weekend. Kids and adults
alike will have their choice of fun, from Halloween parades to
cocktails on the Derby Street Green. Whether its trick-or-treating,
hayrides, or a Halloween Bash, we have your plans covered with some
of the best spooky and not-so-spooky activities and celebrations
from Hingham to Scituate and beyond.
Friday, October 25th
Don your best costume for the Boo Bash at
Derby Street in Hingham. Enjoy performances, face
painting, and complimentary kids treats. The adults can enjoy the
fun, too, with a cash bar and live music. Save time and buy tickets
now. In partnership with South Shore Health. Proceeds benefit

Parents with very little ones may opt for The South Shore
Country Clubs Halloween Bash, a unique party for
preschoolers. Children through 5th grade can celebrate later with a
costume party and hayride at 6:00pm. The party is hosted by the

Saturday, October 26th
Kids will love the ponies, goats, chickens, cows, and sheep at
Boo in the Barnyard at Weir River Farm in
Hingham. There will be plenty of activities to keep the little
ones busybuild a scarecrow, create spooky Halloween crafts, sit
aboard a tractor, and play games like pumpkin bowling. Weir

Enjoy daytime, safe Trick
or Treating in Cohasset Village. Bring your kids to
parade in costume through the square. Keep an eye out for balloons
from participating merchants for a special treat and make sure to
stop by our Gibson Sothebys International Realty office on 1 South
Main Street for some spooky snacks and candy. End the afternoon at
St. Stephens

Downtown Hingham in the
Square offers an additional safe trick or treating option
where vendors will welcome children in costumes to stop into their

St. John’s (Not-So-Spooky) Haunted House makes for a
perfect evening outing for preschool and elementary age children
alike! The haunted house is kid-friendly and hosted by Freddy, the
friendly ghost. Enjoy refreshments and activities in the lower

End the evening with a Pumpkin Lumina
Ride in Scituate with R&C Farms and witness 500 carved
pumpkins lit up in the night sky. Refreshments available. R&C

Sunday, October 27th
Tricks and Treats Party at The Paragon Boardwalk in
Hull features entertainment including family-friendly music, a
magic show, photo booth, specialty drinks for adults, and so much
more. Cruise the historic boardwalk and enjoy the festivities while

Watch a Halloween
Parade in Hanover. Dress in your favorite costume and join
in the fun with the high school band as they parade around the
school. After the event, kids will have the chance to give back as
they are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the

The Great Pumpkin Hunt and Halloween Extravaganza in
Plymouth is an event kids wont forget as excitement fills
the air with the annual hunt for eggs and a special Great pumpkin
prize. Enjoy coloring and game stations, a photo booth, and more.

The Haunting Tower Tour in Scituate offers residents and
visitors the opportunity to climb the lighted 123-step spiral
staircase to the very top of Lawson Tower. Not-so-scary ghosts,
goblins, and Halloween characters will pop out along the way. All
