This holiday season, Gibson Sothebys International Realty
issupporting the Toys for Tots Foundation by collecting new,
unwrapped gifts for children in need!
A program run by the U.S. Marine Corps,Toys for Tots has been
delivering a message of hope through the gift of newtoys to less
fortunate youngsters since 1947.Toni
Gilardispearheads GSIR’s donation efforts and the
annual Toys for Tots fundraiser in the North End.
I fell in love with the mission of Toys for Tots over eighteen
years ago, after a colleague invited me to join the effort,”
recalls Gilardi. “Our fundraiser has grown significantly over the
years. When we needed to find a larger venue, I approached the
Divine Design
Center and they were thrilled to host our event in
their gorgeous 10,000-square-foot showroom. The space enabled us to
offer live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, as well as
music and dancing. Food, beverage and thousands of dollars in toys
are donated each year by local businesses and neighborhood
residents. Our fundraisers thrive on the generosity of our clients,
friends, family and the residents of the North End and Waterfront
areas. I am thankful for their participation in such a worthy
cause.”
If you would like to donate a gift this holiday season, please
drop it off at any of our elevenoffice locations in Greater
Boston. Gifts may be dropped off up until
