Columbus Park Fall Festival
When: Monday, October 10, noon –

Where: Christopher Columbus Park,
Bostons North End (100 Atlantic Ave. – next to the Marriott Long
Wharf Hotel)
Price: Free
The Columbus Park Fall Festival
is great for families; it begins with a childrens parade through
the park and includes local performers and entertainment such as
magicians, storytellers, and games. The day is sponsored by local
North End and Waterfront businesses. It will be a beautiful fall
day, so feel free to picnic in the park or venture over to local
cafes, bakeries, or restaurants.

Cranberry Harvesting Festival
When: October 8-9, 10am – 4pm rain or shine
Where: A.D. Makepeace Company,
158 Tihonet Road, Wareham, MA
Price: Adults- $10, Seniors- $5,
Free for children under 7; Free parking; Some activities have
additional fees or donations
The annual Cranberry Harvesting
Festival is taking place today and tomorrow. Tour the largest
cranberry bog south of Boston and explore assorted gifts and
goodies from local vendors. There are also carnival rides for
children, so it makes for a great family outing.

Bostons foliage is at its most vibrant during September and
