offers comfort and stability to her clients throughout each
transaction. Read on to discover Robin’s top spots for
enjoying natural beauty on the Cape, and what she loves about the
unique real estate market she expertly navigates each
day.

What did
you do before real estate and how did you get started in the
business?

I actually grew up in Westchester, New York, so I am
technically a wash-ashore – a local term for someone not born
on Cape Cod. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked with Cape Cod
Life Publishing in Advertising Sales and as a Director for almost
20 years. This position helped me garner a deep knowledge of the
distinctive towns, beaches, artists  restaurants that define
Cape Cod. Being such an advocate for our beautiful region, the
natural segway in my career was getting into the real estate
industry.  Also, my husband, an Orleans native, has been in
Commercial Real Estate for his entire career, and has his roots
entrenched in his hometown.

What is
something your clients find comfort in that makes them turn to you
for their real estate needs?

I think that my approach is professional, informative
and communicative, with some fun thrown in there.  This allows
my clients to feel in-control and educated about the process, and
it becomes a partnership to help them either sell or buy.  A
real estate transaction is a big undertaking, and unexpected things
always happen. Staying the course without too much stress is
imperative.  I also think that buying or selling a Cape Cod
home can be emotional for many reasons, and my local insight and
expertise helps my clients feel comfortable.

 What
are some of your favorite local hobbies, activities or
organizations that you participate in?

As an Orleans resident for more than
thirty years, I have participated in many local events.
Currently, I sponsor the Artist Cottages of Orleans, which promotes
local artists and gives them an affordable venue to display &
sell their work.  I was also on the Open Space Committee for
the Town of Orleans.

What do
you love most about where you live and work?

I love the outdoors – it is an intrinsic part of
why people love it here and want to be here.  Also, running,
hiking and just the natural beauty & recreation aspect of the
region we live in.   Regarding my work, there is always
happiness in buying a Cape House, or seeing your property passed on
to someone and poised to create new Cape Cod memories.  No two
days are ever the same and no two transactions are ever the
same.  I always say that I learn something new from every
transaction, and that is super satisfying.

Favorite
spots in Orleans/Cape Cod?

Nauset Beach and Outer Beach, Kent’s Point, the
Drive from Orleans to Chatham along Pleasant Bay, and the Cape Cod
National Seashore paths & lighthouses.

What are
three sources of joy in your week?

Talking to my two adult children, my golden retriever,
Cruz, and running/walking outside somewhere beautiful.
