August Agent Spotlight: Brenda Demers

Spotlight on Brenda Demers

Brenda
Demers
is able to combine her experience and local
connections to every client’s benefit. In nearly two decades
as the owner of her own photography business, Brenda has gained a
unique perspective on her clients homes, and is able to expertly
prepare homes for market. As an active member of the Upton and
MetroWest communities, Brenda is also uniquely positioned to guide
her clients through the local real estate market. We are thrilled
to celebrate Brenda as our Agent Spotlight for August!

What did you do before real estate and how did you get
started in the business?

Before I was a Realtor I owned my own Photography business for
18 years. This allows me to see clients’ homes in a different
light. With an expert eye, I strategically prepare my clients homes
for the market then bring in a professional photographer after I
stage the home, ultimately securing the highest return.

What is something your clients find comfort in that
makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?

My sincerity and no pressure sales strategy speak for
themselves. I explain the process to any potential clients and let
my experience and ability to listen provide them with all the
confidence they need to know their purchase or sale will be a
complete success from beginning to end.

What are some of your favorite local hobbies,
activities or organizations that you participate in?

I have played on the Upton Women’s Softball League for over
22 years and currently on The Little Coffee Bean Team since 2011.
During the fall and winter months I bowl on the Upton Women’s
Bowling League, another league I’ve been in weekly for over 18
years. I enjoy seeing all these ladies year after year. My husband
and I also team up and join Pitch leagues in Hopedale, Westborough
and Upton whenever we can and play for short money. A old card game
we have both loved since we were kids growing up.

What do you love most about where you live and
work?

I fell in love with the area and communities I live and work in
everyday over 22 years ago. Moving from Shrewsbury, we were looking
for a smaller town feel, excellent school system, family oriented
community and more space when we moved to Upton. Both of our girls
grew up here. Many don’t know that Mendon and Upton share their
middle and high school making the two towns very much one large
community. I know that stopping at the post office or local coffee
shop, I will run into a neighbor or friend and always a smiling
face.

Favorite spots in Metrowest?

Some of my favorite places around Metrowest are:
Alicante’ Restaurant and Lounge in Mendon: Amazing
Mediterranean food
Red Barn Cafe’ at Angel’s Garden Center in Hopkinton: Not
just for their coffee and baked goods but we shop for all our
perennials every Spring and Fall.
Upton: Country Sooper for all my fresh cut meats and Kelly’s
Farm Stand for all fresh vegetables everyday. You just can’t
beat it!
Muffin House Cafe’ in Medway: Delicious specialty cakes, all
full bakery, sandwiches and Red Barn coffee

What are three sources of joy in your week?

Three sources of joy in a week for me are:

1. Spending the rare free summer day relaxing poolside.
2. Getting together with our family and friends, we love to
entertain.
3. Closing Day for my buyers and sellers, the moment I can tell
them “you are on record”!
