We are pleased to present
our Agent Spotlight on
Liz Kincannon, an associate at Gibson Sothebys International
Realty in Weston, Massachusetts.

What did you do before real
estate and how did you get started in the
business?
Before getting into real estate over
20 years ago, I was a research assistant in Health Policy and
Clinical Epidemiology at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital. The
primary study that my team worked on followed survivors of cardiac
arrest with a focus on the best ways to return them to full
functioning. I enjoyed working with a variety of patients and
caregivers. One of the things that drew me to real estate was the
opportunity to build relationships with a variety of buyers
and sellers while helping them during an important time in their
lives.
What is something your clients
find comfort in that makes them turn to you for their real estate
needs?
My clients appreciate my comprehensive
knowledge of the market, my attention to detail, and my negotiation
skills. I consider my work with clients a relationship, not just a
transaction. I have maintained these relationships beyond the
completion of a sale. The best compliment I receive is when a
client returns to me when they are ready to move
again.
What do you love most about
where you live and work?
Living and working in Wayland and
working in Weston and the surrounding communities is a
pleasure. It is highly sought-out by buyers for its top schools,
and I love how welcoming it is to newcomers. We are surrounded
by opportunities to enjoy nature and open space, and yet we are
just minutes from Boston.
What are three sources of joy
in your week?
- Knowing that I have helped someone
— whether it is in real estate, or as a neighbor or
friend. - I am grateful for the lasting
friendships I have formed with my clients. I’m known for
bringing meals to friends and past clients to stay connected and
give back. - Our 13 year old pug, Lily, brings
me joy every day!
