We present our Agent Spotlight on
Wyndham Flaherty, Senior Sales Associate at Gibson Sotheby’s
International Realty in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
What did you do before real estate and how did you get
started in the business?
I have been in the real estate business for over fifteen years,
having started my career with the top broker in Wellesley, Massachusetts.I
learned the business quickly by working directly with buyers and
sellers as well as relocation companies in the area. Now as an
independent agent, I have been able to continue my success
representing my own clients from start to finish of the sales
process, guiding them every step of the way.
What is something your clients find comfort in that
makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?
Having lived in Wellesley for 25 years, I have gained first-hand
knowledge of not only the town of Wellesley but all surrounding
communities in the MetroWest. I have raised my two children here,
seen them through the amazing Wellesley Public Schools system, and
watched them participate in various youth and high school sports
teams. Not to mention, my network of contacts, marketing resources
and exclusive suite of technology tools make it easy for my clients
to navigate the buying or selling process.
What are some of your favorite local hobbies, activities
or organizations that you participate in?
Through the years I have been very involved as a parent in the
Wellesley Public Schools, sitting on the board of the Parent
Teacher Student Organization both at the elementary and high school
levels. In my spare time, I love to walk with or without my dog
exploring the many trails and parks in and around Wellesley.
What do you love most about where you live and
work?
I love that I am able to work in the town where I live. I’m
also grateful for the opportunity to provide buyers and sellers
with years of local experience as well as the market history of
properties in which they are interested. Living in Wellesley means
a very short ride to downtown Boston and also the beaches both
north and south.
What are three sources of joy in your week?
- Early morning walks.
- Time with family and friends, sharing meals, wine and
laughter. - Outside fire pits with friends this past year.
