LOUIS D. BROWN PEACE
INSTITUTE
Based in Dorchester, Massachusetts,
The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute is a center of healing,
teaching, and learning for families and communities impacted by
murder, trauma, grief, and loss. Itsprograms and services are
grounded in the Center for Disease Controls social-ecological
framework that interventions are needed at multiple levels in order
to interrupt cycles of violence.

STABLE GROUND
BOSTON
Stable Ground addresses the
complicated relationship between chronic housing insecurity, its
psychologically traumatic impact, and municipal housing policy
through a participatory community-based art and cultural program
structured to inform the work of the City of Bostons Office of
Housing Stability. This project creates a residency program that
embeds artists, legal designers, and trauma experts into community
settings that contribute to local visual and performing arts
exhibits and art-making events. These events have included
facilitated conversations among artists, residents, activists,
organizers, experts, and municipal leaders, all structured to
inform existing OHS services and those in development.

YOUTH ENRICHMENT
SERVICES
Youth Enrichment Services (YES) is a
private, nonprofit organization with amission to inspire youth with
physical and mental activities that foster life-long respect for
self, others, and the environment.Founded in 1968 by Richard
Williams,YES provides affordable and impactful sports-based youth
development and leadership programming for Boston children and
teens, with a deep belief deeply in the transformative power of
engaging youth in active outdoor activities. YES is dedicated to
serving Boston youth with a targeted focus on reaching
low-to-moderate income children and teens in Dorchester, Roxbury,
and Mattapan. It currently serves more than. 1,600 children and
teens annually.
