What did you do before real estate and how did you get
started in the business?
I worked as an SAP technical consultant for numerous companies
throughout the country.My husband, Hans-Peter, is a consultant and
travels all the time, so I was the solo parent during the week. I
stayed at home with my girls for 8 years. My kids were in school
full-time and I needed to get busy andreturn to the business world.
I needed to find a job where I could have flexible hours and work
around my children’s schedules.I tried IT software recruiting,
which was fun, but I found my clients calling me to help them find
housing and offer my opinion on the various areas of the city.It
was a natural progression into real estate.
What is something your clients find comfort in that
makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?
I work very hard to ensure that my clients feel I am
representing them to the highest standard. My knowledge of the
local community and experience representing buyers and sellers
offer each client the confidence that they are working with a
professional. Nothing is more exciting than the gratifying feeling
I receive from helping people meet their real estate needs. I feel
it is my responsibility to help my clients achieve their goals in
the real estate market.

What are some of your favorite local organizations or
activities that you participate in?
The Cohasset Chamber is a pleasure to work with because of our
amazing community. All the business owners take the time and effort
to make Cohasset Village a very special place to visit. We hold the
Holiday Stroll and Summer Fun Day which both attract people from
all over. I am a former Girl Scout leader of twelve years, a
National Association of Women member, and an active participant in
the South Shore Hospital’s Moonlight Gala event.
I love dogs and I enjoy walking with fellow dog walkers on the
beach and through the numerous trails in Cohasset. I have come to
truly appreciate the opportunity to walk a gorgeous beach and
breathe in the fresh salt air. It always recalibrates my state of
mind to a positive outlook.
What do you love most about where you live and
work?
Cohasset is one of those towns where you will always find
someone to help when you’re in need. Whether it’s looking for a
missing dog, creating an amazing costume on Halloween Day to make a
child feel special, or helping out with homeworkCohasset is a town
where the community comes together to improve our schools. It’s one
of those towns where you know others are looking out for you and
your family and will always have your back. Spending time at the
sandbar at Bassing Beach looking for shells and visiting with
friends will always be a part of our family stories. I am very
grateful to call Cohasset my home.
I also work at the sweetest corner office in the prominent
Cohasset Village. Everybody loves our window front and will stop
and check out the latest listings. Our office is a welcoming place
for all. Since 2020, I have been collaborating with my business
partner, Karen
Peters, and I believe we offer a more innovative
approach to our business. I truly believe that I am surrounded by
an amazing team of brokers that are team players and want to see us
all be successful. I love my job and not everybody can say
that.
What are three sources of joy in your week?
- My family and our dog, Gracie Bear, bring me great joy and
having them all healthy and doing well is truly a gift in my
life. - Spending time with my 88 year-old Mom who still lives in
Allston. Her stories about life are priceless. - My careertalking to people and discussing real estate will
