What did you do before real estate and how did you get
started in the business?
I am a native of Massachusetts, born into a real estate family,
so the industry has always been apart of me! After graduating from
college, I worked at AT&T International, coordinatingemployee
relocation and travel and events initiatives. After having my
children, I worked inretail, managing stores until I moved to New
York City, where I worked in Client Service atSotheby’s Auction
House. For eighteen years, I was fortunate to work as the Director,
AuctionLiaison, facilitating the relationships between the auction
house and more than 760 officesaffiliated with Sotheby’s
International Realty across the globe. In this role, I led realty
clientservice for preferred auction clients, managed real estate
and fine arts referrals, and producedco-marketing events in New
York, London, Hong Kong, and for Sotheby’s International Realty
affiliate offices.
What is one thing your clients find comfort in that make
them turn to you for their real estate
needs?
Effective communication with my clients is extremely important
and crucial to the success ofevery transaction! Buying or selling a
home is a major life step and investment, so I workdiligently to
keep my clients updated on market data, pricing, and marketing
initiatives. Openlines of communication are imperative to providing
clients with a sense of security and trust inmy services. I am
thrilled to have chosen a profession where proper communication is
vital, andwhere establishing new relationships and fostering
existing connections are part of my dailybusiness strategy.
What about the Boston area lifestyle excites you
most?
The arts. We are blessed with so many great museums around
Boston. There is plenty to beseen and learnedthe hardest part is
choosing which ones to visit! A quick, or long, visit to theMuseum
of Fine Arts or the Harvard Art Museums can give you your creative
boost for theweek.
Describe your perfect day off.
My perfect day off will always include my family and friends! My
family and I have been makingmemories together on Nantucket and in
Florida for years.[:]
