Why did you decide to pursue a real estate
career?
In 2002, I moved to Park City, as many do, to ski for one
season.” Having fallen in love with this place and consciously
deciding to make it my home, I had to find a real job that didnt
involve selling chapstick orgoggles. With decades of sales
experience and a conviction that I should be my own boss, real
estate presented itself as the solution. Little did I know, my true
role would be as an ambassador to Park Cityselling real estate was
what actually paid the bills.
What are some of your favorite local activities or
organizations that you each participate in?
Top of the list? Being outdoors: mainly skiing and hiking.
Parkites are also called upon to serve their community: I am on the
Board of the Park City Education Foundation, co-chair the Park
Citys Best Fundraiser, and participate in a task force for Live PC
Give PC: Park Citys day of giving which supports over 110 local
non-profits and raised over $2.4 million in 24 hours in 2018. I
also sponsor the annual Falcon Fun Run, which raises funds to
support programming at my daughters elementary school. Need a voice
and anenthusiasmto crowd-raise? Im your gal.
What about the Utah lifestyle excites you
most?
Fresh mountain air. 300 days of sunshine annually. The diverse
and ever-changing landscape of our State. The endless adventure of
our National Parks and Monuments. And of course, the Greatest Snow
on Earth.
How has the Sotheby’s brand impacted your
business?
Sotheby’s’ iconic brand heritage is one that our
discerning and sophisticated clientele in Park City identify with.
They seek the power of the network, resources and global impact
that the brand and our unparalleled marketing represent. At Summit
Sothebys International Realty, luxury is defined as an experience,
not a price point. Therefore, all of my clients get the white-glove
experience and breadth of exposure that they deserve. This, coupled
with my personal commitment to exceeding expectations, has allowed
my business to grow to where it is today.
Describe your perfect day off.
I dont get many conventional days off, but it would certainly
involve time with my family: my two girls, my husband, Mike, and
our two labradors, doing anything outside and exploring. Without my
phone.
