How has your marketing and advertising background
contributed to your success as agent?
My background in advertising gave me a real appreciation for
branding and the importance of target marketing and reach. When I
got my real estate license, it was paramount that I aligned myself
with a company that had the same initiative. The Sothebys brand,
with its unparalleled reach, is recognized globally and is
synonymous with innovation. My background has enabled me to value
what it takes in todays fast paced and evolving world of real
estate to remain steps ahead of the competition. Sothebys continues
to provide me with the tools I need to do my job and do it
well.
What is one of your strongest assets as an agent serving
Cape Cod?
My strongest assets are my local roots, as they have afforded me
many personal connections. As a native Cape Codder, I have an
insiders knowledge and perspective of the landscape and the
differences each of our varied communities has to offer. Having
also raised my kids on Cape, I can speak to the great school
systems and why a client would want to join me in calling Cape Cod
home.
What is the best advice you received from your parents
or loved ones?
The best advice I have ever received from my parents is to work
hard, value family, and that honesty is always the best policythe
same advice Ive given my kids, except I often say, be honest fast.
Im fortunate that I enjoy what I do and I cant imagine life without
my work. Just when I think Ive seen it all, I experience something
new and entirely different, which is one of the many things that
keeps me energized in this industry.
What is one of the best decisions you have ever
made?
Hands down, having a family. I trust my kids have taught me so
much more about life than I have ever taught them. (Theyll be the
first to tell you how eager I am for the next generation, which
does not appear to be happening any time soon, sadly).
Describe your perfect day off.
My perfect day off would be on our boat, cruising across
Pleasant Bay, sun kissed and salty with our four adult children.
Adding friends and a beach clambake would be the cherry on top!
