Welcomed Visitors to Main Street Location

COHASSET, December 12, 2018 Gibson Sotheby’s
International Realty opened its doors to Cohasset residents along
with other shops and merchants in celebration of the towns Holiday
Stroll, an annual event hosted by the Cohasset Chamber of Commerce.
The local real estate companyhas been part of the stroll, which
includes businesses in The Village and Rt. 3A Business District,
for years and is an active participant in the local community. As
the stroll kicked off on Saturday, storefronts were alive with the
spirit of the season and festively adorned with wreaths and white
lights as they invited visitors in for cider, chowder, cookies, and
other refreshments.

All visitors who stopped by Gibson Sothebys International Realty
were treated to a family Christmas movie, warm hot chocolate and
the opportunity to chat with South Shore agents. In addition,
visitors were entered into a free raffle to win a festive Ginger
Bettys gingerbread house. Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty is
additionallymaking a donation to the South Shore Community Centera
local, inclusive center that provides programs to all ages from
toddlers to adults.

Being a welcoming part of the local community is incredibly
important to us at Gibson, said Gibson Sotheby’s International
Realtys Executive Director, Don Minchello. Many of our agents live
and work in Cohasset and their roots grow deep here. Gibson prides
itself on its family-oriented culture and events like this allow
our agents, and firm, to express our gratitude to our town and to
our clients.

A section of Main Street was closed to traffic as participants
attended these open houses and enjoyed caroling, live music, a
hayride on an antique John Deere tractor and other festive
activities. As Santa arrived on a firetruck, the event kicked up
full swing and a tree lighting ceremony at Bia Bistro added cheer
to the streets.

This stroll is really just the Chambers way of saying thank you
to all its residents for shopping the stores and contributing to
the community, said Larry Corthell, Chamber of Commerce
Director.
