Harwich Port, MA Executives of Gibson
Sothebys International Realty confirmed today the closed sale of a
property in Harwich Port, Massachusetts for $8.3 million. The
transaction marks the highest price ever paid for a home listed by
Gibson Sothebys International Realtys Cape Cod offices. REALTOR
Jack Bohman successfully marketed and sold the home.
Sothebys International Realtys tremendous brand recognition and
leading international marketing platform helped my clients earn the
expanded local, national and international exposure that helped
achieve this record-breaking result, said Bohman, whose average
sale price reaches over $1.13M. The property exudes Cape charm and
character while seamlessly integrating modern technology and
amenities. While this price point is extraordinary for our six Cape
Cod-based offices, there were more than a few interested parties
and all very qualified purchasers. I am honored to represent the
seller in identifying a new steward for the estate.
With six Cape Cod offices new to Gibson Sothebys International
Realty, I am thrilled to see our agents reach new benchmarks and
build on the continued achievements of the firm, commented Ken
Hager, General Manager of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty on
Cape Cod. A sale of this magnitude is evidence of the desirability
of the luxurious New England lifestyle and of Jacks commitment to
maximizing the success of every transaction for his clients. I am
thrilled with Jacks new record high for himself and for the
company, and I am confident the coming months will bring equally
stellar triumphs across all the markets we serve.
Flanked by bluffs and perched on an expansive water-facing yard,
the 1.65-acre estate at 18 Snow Inn Road lends sweeping views of
the Nantucket Sound. Newly built this year, the 6,041-square-foot
home offers five bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a salt water
pool, a custom cabana and an outdoor fireplace.
With over a decade of real estate experience, Jack Bohman is one
of the most trusted industry leaders on Cape Cod, specializing in
the sale of luxury and waterfront properties primarily on the towns
of Chatham, Orleans, and Harwich. In 2008, Bohman co-founded Bohman
Thayer Real Estate with his business partner Todd Thayer. Bohman
Thayer quickly became one of the Lower Cape’s top-producing
agencies, with 140 transaction sides and $122,000,000 in sales in
seven years. He merged with oldCape Sothebys International Realty
in 2015.
Gibson Sothebys International Realty officially joined forces
with oldCape Sothebys International Realty in September 2018,
adding six new offices to the Boston-headquartered brokerage, which
transcended $1 billion in sales volume between January 1 and July
31 of this year. The acquisition extended Gibson Sothebys
International Realtys reach south into Barnstable County and
welcomed real estate agents in Orleans, Brewster, Harwich Port,
Dennis, Chatham, and North Chatham into the firm. The company now
supports approximately 300 agents across a total of seventeen
offices.
Since 1962, Gibson Sothebys International Realtys unique
approach of combining local leadership with a global brand has been
highly effective throughout Boston, Cambridge and Greater Boston.
Under Co-Owners Larry Rideout and Paul McGanns leadership for over
a decade, the firm has grown exponentially and has cultivated a
people-centric and technology-driven culture. Today, Gibson
Sothebys International Realty is the largest independently-owned
real estate company in Boston.
