Sue McDermott and

For 10 years,
Sue McDermottharnessed her energy and enthusiasm for
educating children at North Shore Nursery School in Beverly Farms,
whereshe built warm relationships with numerous families. When Bob
and Sue’s son enrolled at Hyde School in Bath, Maine, Sue became
fully immersed in the school’s Family Education program, eventually
creating and developing her own position as Admission
Consultant.
Bob McDermotts 28 dynamic years at an institutional
equity trading desk in Boston has rewarded him with a highly
influential career. During those time-demanding years, Bob made the
goal of his hard work a comfortable home by the sea, so that he and
his wife Sue could take in the views of the ocean each day. After a
short time, Bob and Sue purchased a lovely seaside residence on
Cape Ann, where they were able to truly appreciate seaside living
and become active members of their community. Over the years, they
purchased and sold several beautiful homes, finding some of those
transactions challenging. While they were delighted with those new
homes, they left each experience “underwhelmed and underserved”
from a client perspective. With those experiences in mind, Bob and
Sue made a commitment to the real estate profession in the effort
to assist future clients in their pursuits of their own dream
homes. Capitalizing on strengths in the financial arena, Bob offers
guidance with these large investments that make a significant
impact on people’s lives. Sues years of experience in helping
others has helped guide each client through each transaction with a
warm, personal connection.
Bob is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where he
earned degrees in Economics & Finance. Today, he serves as a
University trustee. Outdoor lovers at heart, Bob and Sue enjoy all
of the splendor of New England while fishing, golfing, skiing,
gardening and hiking Ravenswood trails with their German
Shorthaired Pointer,Bailey. Their 29-year marriage speaks of their
commitment to each other, their family and the prolonged vision of
their business.
Kenny MacCarthy has served as a full-time residential
real estate consultant on the North Shore and Cape Ann since 1994.
As a trained negotiator and “problem anticipator,” Kenny is able to
guide his clients with expert, first-hand knowledge that translates
into prescient advice. Many say the detailed consultations with him
prior to making their decisions were the keys to their success.
