This November, Sothebys Auction House will be showing 400 pieces
from David Bowies personal art collection. First, the artwork will
go on a world tour, making appearances in Los Angeles, New York
City and Hong Kong. A musician and actor, Bowie took his passion
for art seriously, collecting art and connecting with the artists
he was buying from.

Included in Bowies collection is
work by famous 20th Century artists such as Frank Auerbach, Damien
Hirst, Henry Moore, and Graham Sutherland. The value of the
collection is estimated to be over $13 million. This is truly a
one-of-a-kind collection and worth checking out.
Some of the works included in the collection include:

Damien Hirst,
Beautiful, shattering, slashing,
violent, pinky, hacking, sphincter painting, 1995.
Jean-Michel Basquiat, Air Power, 1984.
Harold Gilman,
Interior (Mrs
Mounter),
1917.
