Tomorrow – Saturday, November 14th, Boston is holding
another IDEA Roundtable in the community. If you havent already
heard about it, Go Boston 2030, which is an initiative to envision
a bold transportation future for the city, has been holding Idea
Roundtables as a way to collect possible project and policy ideas
from the community, therefore allowing for the public to contribute
to planning for Bostons transportation future.
The IDEA Roundtable is set up and designed to ultimately promote
and cultivate dialogue and let people be heard. The City of Boston
is then going to take the voice of the public along with data
analysis to begin, and continue to develop actual framework reports
with various goals and targets towards making transportation as a
whole, better for everyone.
For November 14th, it will be held at 885 Washington Street at
the Quincy School in Chinatown from 12pm-2:30pm and there will be
childcare, refreshments and even interpretations in Spanish and
Chinese. If you want to be a part of Bostons future of
transportation, whether for walking, transit, driving, or cycling,
then let your ideas be heard at the next Idea Roundtable.
