ArtWeek Boston
is back and kicking off the fall season with a 10 day collection of
events. Friday, September 25th Sunday, October
4th individuals will be able to get interactive and
behind the scenes access to artists and the methods to their
madness.
Events throughout the 10 days will include workshops for paper
roll print and watercolor painting and a free family art festival.
Just a few more of the 100+ events throughout the week include
learning about the art of the oriental carpet at Skinner Inc., a
learn to improvise workshop at ImprovBoston, Open Runway at Boston
Fashion Week, Cocktail Couture: Mixology Art at the Four Seasons
Hotel, DIY-salvaging trash and treasures at Restoration Resources,
For the Love of Song Writing at Olivia Frances Music, and a Gala
evening of Art at the Fountain Street Studios.
ArtWeek Boston has been named Best of the New by the Boston
Globe and was also chosen as the 2014 Winner of BosInnos 50 on Fire
Award and with 45 neighborhoods involved and 50% of the events
being free, there is bound to be an event that catches every kind
of eye.
