Join the City of Boston for its weekend
fun of cycling! Starting September 19th, the city will be
holding its 7th annual cycling race. The TD Bank Mayors Cup is
Bostons only pro cycling race with 200 athletes from the US
Olympics as well as national champions. City Hall Plaza will be the
center of fun as people of all ages come together to enjoy an
afternoon of thrill and entertainment.
Now its your turn. On September 20th, Boston will be hosting its
11th annual citywide bike
ride. Hub on Wheels lets everyone try a course at their own
speed through the streets of Boston. With a $50 registration fee,
you can choose between three different courses: 10 miles, 30 miles,
or 50 miles. Experience a car-free Storrow Drive! Hub on Wheels
also supports Boston Bikes, Tech Goes Home, and the Special
Olympics of Massachusetts.
To go along with these events, City Hall Plaza will be packed
with food, music, and entertainment during the Boloco Block Party. Mayor
Martin Walsh hopes to make Boston a world class cycling city by
bringing together both residents and visitors to promote safe and
fun conditions for cycling!
