Founded in 1956, the Charles River
Center is a private, nonprofit human service agency that serves
over 600 families from many communities including but not limited
to Cambridge,Needham, Wellesley, Westonand Westwood. They
provideemployment, job training, residential homes, day
habilitation and recreation programs for children and adults with
developmental disabilities and autism. Their mission is”to empower
and support people with developmental disabilities by offering
high-quality, individualized opportunities that foster independence
and community inclusion.”
