Support America’s Oldest Non-Profit Craft Organization as they Relocate

SACGibson Sothebys International Realty
team member, David Demarco a SAC member for over 25 years, SAC
board member and collector, is asking for your support as The Society of Arts and Crafts relocates
to a new home leaving 175 Newbury Street where they have resided
for the past 40 years.

SAC will be on the move by February 28, 2016 due to their
current building being sold. This is an exciting and critical time
in The Society of Arts and Crafts’ 118-year history. SAC is one of
five organizations that has applied for a promising and exciting
location on Boston’s Waterfront, offering 20,000 square feet of
indoor and outdoor space near the ICA.

Incorporated in 1897, The Society of Arts and Crafts has been at
the forefront of the American craft movement, fostering the
development, sales, recognition, and education of crafts for over
one hundred years. The dual mission of The Society of Arts and
Crafts is to encourage the creation, collection, and promotion of
the work of contemporary craft artists and to advance public
appreciation of fine craft.
