17th, let’s focus on families without homes. Let’s help homeless
children.
The Gibson Sothebys International Realty team is looking forward
to the Route for Kids 5k on May 17th, where runners will
participate to raise money and awareness for homeless children. Our
very own, Amy Butterworth, will be co-chairing the event, while Tim
Deihl has made a personal goal to raise $5k for the 5k. Watch out
for the Gibson Sothebys International Realty team at this exciting
event in Jamaica Plain and at Doyles Cafe after the race!
Horizons for Homeless Children is a nonprofit organization that
raises awareness as well as provides educational needs to young
children and their families who struggle to find shelter. One in
every 30 children are homeless each year, a stunning statistic that
Horizons works to reduce as well as raising awareness towards.
Horizons provides assistance with early education, opportunities
for play, and family support for over 2,000 children each week.
