Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty: A Message from Ownership

It has been a tremendous journey for the Sotheby’s brand in and
throughout The Greater Boston Area in recent years. We at Gibson
Sotheby’s International Realty are immensely proud of all of the
individuals who had to sacrifice so much in order for us to make
our positive strides possible. Now, please have a look below to the
very important message released today by owners Larry Rideout and
Paul McGann:

It was 6 years ago today that Gibson Sotheby’s International
announced our entrance into the Boston-Metro Real Estate market!
The wisdom of the timing, given the downturn of the real estate
market, and then the crash of the economy will be debated
endlessly. There was however no question that the market was
looking for another choice, a Brand and company that would provide
a different way of doing business. Essentially a “white glove
service”, no matter what the price point.

Thanks to our clients and customers and our Hall of Fame agent
base we made an impact that has been legendary!

In the past five years we have grown from a 3 office company to
an 8 office company. We have increased our sales volume by 33%,
closing by year end almost 800 million in sales volume. We rank in
the State in the top 5 in Sales volume, and average sales price
closed. In short we have always found success regardless of outside
influences.

Our company was founded with a strong base, given the legacy of
Betty Gibson, and we have made a promise not to vary from the high
level of agents that represent our Brand, or the culture that is
fostered within our company. We believe these two promises, of
dedicated agents and a culture of family allow our customers and
clients to be comfortable to continue to refer their business to
us.

We will be proud to continue to provide the level of service
expected in the years ahead, and we thank the Gibson Sotheby’s
International Realty family for making this an incredible
endeavor.
