Sotheby’s News: SIR Expanding in Asia

The Sothebys International Realty brand continues to expand and
further our presence throughout the world. Asia is the location
that is now the target for increased Sothebys activity and
exposure. As mentioned in our previous blogs, there have been new
offices opened in Italy, Mexico and Vietnam!

In Asia however, there are already offices at Hong Kong
Sotheby’s International Realty, Hunter Sotheby’s International
Realty in Thailand, New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty,
Vietnam Sotheby’s International Realty, Taiwan Sotheby’s
International Realty and Japan Sotheby’s International Realty.
Despite this, the expansion in the region will take the form of new
managerial positions. These will be a Vice President of Global
Development, Vice President of Global Servicing and a Director of
Marketing for all of Asia and the aforementioned affiliates.

Michael R. Good, the CEO of Sothebys International Realty
Affiliates LLC noted how Asia is the primary focus for growth in
the upcoming years. Much of this can spur from the fact that their
economy is also making an upward climb. With their connection with
the Sothebys Auction House located in Hong Kong, these nations will
be greatly impacted by just how much the brand can do for them
locally in Asia and worldwide.

With over 12,000 licensed real estate professionals in over 42
countries that encompass over 580 offices, the Sothebys brand is
one that throughout the recent economic troubles, continues to grow
and prosper. We at Gibson Sothebys International Realty look
forward to working closely with all of these Asian affiliates and
the other offices worldwide in our relentless mission of continuing
to prove the superiority of our services, marketing techniques and
overall experience; this is the essence of Sothebys difference,
this is the essence of extraordinary.
