From New Balance, their sponsored Hubway bicycles are once again
in service! This is certainly exciting news to anyone in Boston; be
it locals, tourists and those who work in or close to the city.
We recently discussed how
Boston is the one of the best and cities to ride a bicycle or walk
when commuting to work.
Hubway began business at the end of July in 2011 and have
already looked to expand. Further plans call for Hubways growth in
places in Brookline, Somerville and
Cambridge. By having
the choice of an annual, a three day or a day pass, all individuals
within Bostons city limits can benefit from the accessibility,
affordability and convenience of Hubway in ways that suit their
needs and lifestyle best.
Whether using Hubway to get to work, class or to just view the
sights, the vast popularity and health conscious choice to enjoy
the beautiful outdoor scenery that Boston has to offer is much of
the reason for the heralded success Hubway has received thus far.
They have vowed to close during the winter seasons, so as of March
15th of 2012 they brought the 600 bicycles back to their 60
