What do we know about Newton?
Well, nobody would argue that The Garden
City, as it is known, has charming homes, stable real
estate prices, a successful school system and has a fantastic
location only some 20 minutes outside of Boston. Newton and its 14
villages in 2004 and repeating in 2005 was praised as the #1 safest
city in the United States! In 2010-2011 Newton also returned to
these impressive rankings as #7 in the country for the population
range of 75,000-99,999 inhabitants in an area. Overall, 134 cities
across the nation were ranked in an order depending on their crime
rates. This year, for 2011-2012, Newton is proud to
announce yet another favorable ranking, being #5 nationwide! This
just goes to show how safe our area is and that many of our suburb
cities and towns are being recognized by gaining the rewarding
respect that they truly deserve.
